I went to ecoversity in Santa Fe, N.M. and have been kinda preaching, permaculture since 1995, do it or die. The only thing wrong is I need to practice what I preach. I am really looking forward to meeting people of like mind, that are doers. Love Paul Wheaton and every thing he does and stands for. Personally, I would love to stand by him or someone like him to spread the info on sustainable living. I have the time as I am retired. I live in Temecula on 5 acres and have a large, mature orchard of about 55 fruit trees. My excess fruit is feeding some pigs and close friends. I have classes here teaching fermented foods, dehydration, canning, even how to build a fire. I consider myself a Jill of many trades a master of none. My friends call me the garden goddess.
Absolutely, I am an idea person!!!
My dad was a gardener and I learned the love of gardening from him. We grew corn in our front yard in Orange County in the 50's and60's. Always have grown vegetables and propagated plants my whole life. When I got married, my husband I had a Christmas tree farm along with planting fruit trees and veggies. I have a certificate in medicinal herbal medicine from the Natural Institute of Healing Arts in Encinitas. I grow some herbs and make my own herbal tinctures, and salves. I also have an H.H.P. from Mueller Collage in San Diego. I have been studying natural healing all my life. I lived on a cattle ranch outside of Santa Fe and learned everything about raising cattle on 12,000 acres.
Lifetime gardener, reading about permaculture since 1985; but, reading and doing are two different things. I am still farming in rows and the wild animals are eating everything. Need help with biodiversity.
