Why do you have an interest in the San Diego Homesteaders Meetup Group?

I'm hoping to meet some fruit tree nerds! Especially interested in talking to people who have a thing for mango trees and bananas, but interested in all sorts of fruit tree discussions.

Would you consider proposing meetup ideas?

What experience do you have with Homesteading or Gardening?

We are on-again off-again gardeners, growing tomatoes and beets at the moment. We also have a prolific red flame seedless that produces excellent grapes (we have to arm-wrestle cheeky raccoons over them), strawberries and navajo thornless blackberries. My larger interest is fruit trees. We have a 4-yr-old producing mango (which was supposed to be a Manila but it isn't) and we grow the best bananas I've ever tasted (I think they're 'ice cream' bananas). We have several citrus trees, a nectarine, an apricot, a dwarf almond, and an avocado. We also compost.

Hi! I live in North Park and am a novice fruit tree enthusiast.
