--------------------------------------

On the 17th MAY, there will be a parade called "Piu Sik" happening on the CHeung Chau Island. Kids will be cosplaying different kind of characters on a float.

It's a part of the bun festival. However we won't be able to see any bun fighting that day. There's still other stuff to see tho.
CHeck out pictures of the parade:

Hi all, in case there will be too many people and we can't catch the ferry, lets meet at 9am instead so we can (hopefully) avoid the crowd.
I want to take the 9:30am ferry so we will leave you if you are late!!!
THen we can arrive cheung chau earlier to have brunch :)
The parade starts at 2pm but htere are some other performance from before that so we can check that out.
You can actually see bun competition on 17th late night but I am planning to leave after I saw the parade. So it's up to you if you want to stay behind. But keep in mind the ferry might not be 24 hours. (and it might be crowded..)
you can see here for the ferry schedule.

    Elaine,

Here is some more interesting activities. I have not joined before. "Dragon Dance.........

Although I have not seen it before, from TV it is really amazing. It is suggested to keep some spare time of waiting for ferry. I think many people will go over there.

I have seen “包山”。 It is really exciting as well. cheers,

    Jimmy
