Who needs a coach? How to find the right one for you?

Who should Participate

For those interested to know if a coach could help them succeed in life and work, and how to find the right one. We'll also help create a better understanding of what coaches really do and what you can expect to pay.

Overview and Objective

Many people have some idea of what coaching is and feel that they might want to try use some coaching service to help improve certain areas of life and work. But they are not really sure if their understanding of coaching is right, and how coaches are different from psychotherapists and psychiatrists.

They wonder if coaching is only for those who have got problems, or is coaching more for moving people forward, to improve. While they are interested in finding a coach to work with, they are not clear where to start and how to find the right coach.  e.g. Are you supposed to pay a coach from the right beginning, or is it ok that you have a free chat with a few coaches before deciding on who to work with?

In this workshop, we will

• Help you gain a clearer idea of what coaches do and how coaching is different from, let's say training and workshops.

• Help you decide if its coaches that you want to work with.

• Know how to start finding a right coach for yourself; what are some of the dos and donts in the process.

• Answer some other relevant questions that you have on what coaching is and how to find a right coach for yourself.

• Get some idea of the price of coaching services.

    Hi Everyone, pls note that we have updated the meeting place. We are using Google Hangout instead of Fuzebox which some of you used for a previous workshop with us. Please make sure that
    - You join from a quiet place;
    - You have a headset with a directional mic that does not pick up much noise from the background. Because we want to you participate fully instead of having to mute yourself all the time.

      Personally I like Logitech... I feel you get good quality for a reasonable price. No bells and whistles but they work. I would suggest investing in VOIP headset since more and more workshops will be online... http://www.logitech.c...

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
