We are the largest and most active hiking group in Hong Kong, with over 5,000 members and the most variety and volume of hikes to suit any type of hiker. We are the only hiking group to be invited as the consultant to the first hiker tracking service in the world.

2011 was a terrific year for the Hiking Meetup Group, we look forward to your involvement in 2012.

Our membership doubled in 2011 and we now have over 4,500 registered members. We want to see ALL of you out into the hills this year!

There is now an outing nearly every day - with an average of nearly 10 hikes organized each week which means more choice for everybody.

Last year we also had overseas hikes in China, Nepal and Europe, with many members doing events in Nepal (Action Asia) and racing up Mount Kinabalu. Look out for the next overseas event as they fill up fast!

As a community minded organization, we also do more than hike:

Last year we raised $420,000 for Unison and HK$540,000 for Oxfam.
We raised $26,000 for famine relief with our hike and picnic at Parkview. We had 17 teams in Oxfam Trailwalker and of course a huge crowd of supporters.

We also PARTY! We have had picnics, fund raising parties and hold an annual party in February.
