What is your Haskell experience?

Hobby. I've written odd bits and pieces, and ended up seriously drinking the Kool Aid. I now write Haskell for my job.

What is your software development background?

Started at 11 doing game programming in various BASIC-esque languages. Moved on to application development in C#, then moved on to web programming/database stuff through university when I did Google Summer of Code.

Why is Haskell so much better than sliced bread?

Because Haskell's type checker can probably ensure that you only eat the correct type of sliced bread, and only make sandwiches with possible sandwich ingredients.

This group is 110% me, and I can't wait to meet some more Haskell Hoodlums :)
