What is your Haskell experience?

Only begun learning it over the past few months, and only in my spare time, not commercially.

What is your software development background?

OO languages (C++, C#, Java, in that order) for the vast majority of my career (10 yrs).

Why is Haskell so much better than sliced bread?

So far (with little experience), I'm impressed by the simplicity of the basic primitives (ADTs, typeclasses, function eval) and how much abstraction you can achieve on top of that, in such an elegant fashion.

Been working in OO languages for years, but would really like to learn a/some FP languages. Never quite found the time, so I figured recently it was about time I found the time, and have been spending a bit of time recently with Haskell.
