What is your Haskell experience?

What is your software development background?

8 years of mainly OO development

Why is Haskell so much better than sliced bread?

Because of it's functional purity, unlike a lot of other languages in the functional space.

I am a developer working mainly Java and Groovy on a daily basis. However, I am increasingly interested in functional languages. I am a big Clojure enthusiast and also have been looking at Scala. I think Haskell is something I would learn a lot from.
