anyone got leksah installed on maverick meercat?

As above. I'm trying to install via Cabal, keep getting dependency issues about gio-0.11.0..

Using Ubuntu package manager I've already installed most of the Haskel (ghc6) files.

Specifically aptitude gives the following info:
sudo aptitude show libghc6-gio-dev
Package: libghc6-gio-dev
State: installed
Version: 0.11.0-1

Should I just create some sort of chrooted environment for my Haskel playtime or is there any hope of getting this install to work?
