      “Finally saw remake of "Last House on the Left" and it was very pedestrian. Anybody could have made it. I love revenge films and the story is so strong it's hard to ruin it as long as you stick to the basics---operatic. But this one stripped any IDEAS and THEMES from the original Bergman's Virgin Spring or Craven's version. They really played it safe. I mean, Bergman's was about God's indifference to human suffering and Craven's was a reaction to the Vietnam war..this one...Nuttin...sad...”

I'll make sure to check those out.As for Asian Horror try: Audition, A Tale of two sisters,Old Boy (though not exactly horror but it's good),Premonition,Shutter(not the remake!),Battle Royale,The Eye(the remake was terrible),Re-cycle...all I could think of for now.Take care!”
