I would have to say my favorite horror director would have to be David Cronenberg. He may not have quite as prolific a horror resume as some of the more widely known horror directors, but I thoroughly enjoyed his version of the Fly.
I would have to go with the Shining. I believe more than anything the fact that I saw it as a young child may have had a tremendous influence on my selection of it. I believe that my youth probably made it more intense an experience.
I would love to meet Stephen King. I would like have the opportunity to discuss with him where he derives his inspiration for his story lines, as well as the unusual array of creatures and villians he compiles in his works.
I met Gary Busey who was in the movie Silver Bullet. Although it was a movie about werewolves I would say it is loosely described as a horror film. Mr. Busey seemed very friendly. We happened to be dining at the same restaurant where I new the owner.
I would have to say werewolves because they have have the greatest ability to walk among everyday people undetected. Vampires are limited by their inability to move about during the daytime. Zombies are readily noticeable and seem easier to dispatch.
My name is Michael Fant. I love all forms of horror movies from the basic blood and guts to the ones that leave you guessing right up to till the very end who's the monster. Sometimes it is a little difficult to find people who share the obsession.
