There was a question of scheduling plugins and it was sort of conceded that most of them are less than good, or have issues. As a last resort, Google Calender was maybe simple, but it worked reliably. This also had the advantage of being free. Free and works is good. I have doing some research for a potential client and I found this from Woo Commerce. I have not used it, but it looks like it could be a winner. It's part of the WooCommerce system and while it's not cheap, it will pay for itself, assuming it works as advertised, after a few bookings are made. http://www.woothemes.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/

Great recommendations for scheduling. During the meeting we were looking for plugins related to events such as speeches, presentations, seminars, conferences, etc... There are a few event related plugins out there, but I haven't found any that I like yet.

Don't remember if we discussed this one, The Events Calendar, I've used it in the past. Allows you to add each event as a post, can display events as a calendar are as an event list. Can put up a widget of upcoming events that drop off automatically. But has some quirks as most of these event plugins do.

Someone at Wednesday’s meetup asked where to find free images online. Today I ran across this exhaustive list from The Edublogger: http://theedublogger.com/2014/07/09/the-ultimate-directory-of-free-image-sources/. Check it out!

Sorry, I won't be able to make it either. I got hung up on a project and couldn't leave on time.

Sorry won't be able to make it guys. I am leaving too late from work. This would've been my first meetup. Hopefully there will be another soon.

Rick. I'm so sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it tomorrow. We're packing up my grandmother to move and thought we'd be done by now. Sorry I can't bring the projector but looking forward to the next meeting!! I can bring it next time if needed! And yes it has HDMI connections.
