“ When anyone in the anime community puts out this kind of effort, the anime community should support it. This was a really sorry turnout for this event. This was a nice venue and it was progress... way beyond a fuzzy picture shown on a sheet duct taped to the wall or the approximately $21 to see the all too occasional Fathom Event anime showingat the Edwards. (I attend the sheet and duct tape and Fathom event showings and enjoy them too!) Overall, if you didn't attend, you missed a great movie and you didn't reward the hardwork of a fellow anime fan. Oh yeah, and there was a door prize so to speak. Someone walked away with a Vexille DVD. ”

Everybody was friendly, open, and really helpful! I already have an anime hook-up (which is nice because everyone now knows my computer situation... crashes on solitaire!)!!! And we're already talking about a group project which is going to be a ton of fun, and I can't wait to see what we can do! All in all Kate and I had an awesome time, and we can't wait until the next meeting (hopefully sooner than a month!). Next time we'll try to bring another friend, and this guy is an outstanding artist!!! But if you missed it, don't do that again, you really are missing out on some cool people! Oh, and uh, Kate is REEEAAALLLYYY sorry about hitting your car w/ my door... you know who you are...! (For the record, that's the second time she did it that night!) ”
