Live Action Blood: The Last Vampire Opens in Town July 10

Adding to the one night Evangelion on July 16 comes the announcement that the live action (Japanese) adaptation of Blood the Last Vampire is going to open at The Angelika on Friday, July 10. There's a good chance it won't last more than a week, so I recommend you get down there if you want to see it on the big screen.

i thought it would be a wide release? so its not gonna come out in other theaters?

Hmmm.... well according to my new schedule, I should be off that Friday, so maybe. I normally don't even bother going to movie theaters anymore, but I don't know when or if this will become available at Blockbuster or Netflix, so maybe I should try to see it.

Just to remind you in case you forgot: You know we already have a co-event with the Japanese Cultural Society on the calendar for that night right? The Dinner and movie at the JAS? I know it's already sold out but still at least a dozen or so members are planning on going to that and have paid already. If you put it on the calendar as an official event won't some peeps be like "wth man!?" or maybe even forget about it altogether and end up going to this movie and forget about the other one 'cuz this one would be an "official" meetup? That kind of stuff has been known to happen in the past is all I'm saying....but whatever....idk.

IF I go to see this movie on Friday, I'll go to see it during the day so I can still make the FFVII showing that night. But Saturday is open also at this point.
