Introduction
A little about myself: Professional breather of air, and member of Escaflowne Society of America (I know, doesn't really exist but just play along). Looking for other afficionados of the fine art of anime for discussion and introspection.
What is your favorite Anime?
Besides Escaflowne, I'm really digging Full Metal Alchemist, and I still love that old movie from 1987 called "Wings of Honneamise", which still hasn't been topped in my opinion.
Have you been to any Cons or other Anime meetings/clubs?

How did you find out about us?
Was online looking for a non-college centered anime club in the Houston area that I could join (since I'm no longer in college) and came across this site.
How do you get your anime: download, buy, rent, borrow, or some other way?
download a bit, rent a lot lately...plus the occasional borrowing from friends.

"Find myself leaning more toward shojo these days, but really open to most anything with a really good story in it."

"Nah, the meteorite and hot springs part was in season 2. Episode 30 of season 1 was at a hot springs, but they were trying to solve the mystery of who "killed" Katsura sensei. It was the detective Conan spoof episode...."
