How do you get your anime: download, buy, rent, borrow, or some other way?

I bought my first anime on E-Bay, but then I found out that I can just download them for free on LimeWire. The movie that I bought was "Neon Genesis Evangelion" That is what brought me and opened my eyes on the whole anime construct.
