I loved it, can't wait to go back and learn from all the lovely ladies. Thank you Wanda and Pam for directing me towards my crochet future.
Hello Ladies!!! I'm so sorry I did not make the tour today. I had a minor family emergency. I look forward to seeing you at our next meetup,
That would be awesome, look forward to seeing you Saturday.

Can anyone recommend affordable crochet classes for the southeast side of town? As a busy mom, it would be hard to make regular meetings, but I have a very enthusiastic seven year old who has learned basics from her grandmother and youtube, but she needs lessons and I don't know how to crochet. She has made a granny square blanket, a dozen hairbands, a shawl, headbands, flowers and hearts, but she would like to do more complex stuff. Even a video recommendation would be great. Thank you for the advice!

Try the "Teach Yourself Visually" series of crochet books, from Wiley publishing. It is also available as an e-book: http://www.wiley.com/...

They do offer lessons at the Michaels on Bay Area, however, I am not sure if they have had sufficient interest. Thats a possibility
There was a really good class there around Christmas run by a talented woman, but when I called Michael's today they said she is no longer working for them. Maybe there was not enough interest. I will just have to make an effort to come meet you guys!
I'm on the southeast side as well actually the Bay Area and would be interested in a meetup for this side of town. I'm a very basic beginner.
Hi Eva, I am also in the Bay Area, but will be travelling to Houston for my first group meeting. Maybe I can gather some info for future meetings closer to home. I will let you know.

I can't get to Houston. Anyone want to start a group in the Conroe area?

I'm going to say yes, if I can get into town that early.
Beginner! I just inherited tons of yarn and hooks from my mother-in-law and want to learn how to crochet so I can continue donating on her behalf.
