Stephen Jenkinson, (orphanwisdom.com) recently was the featured speaker in the field of death and dying and whole-hearted living at the annual Compassion and Choices convention in Chicago. It's an hour long and is so full of depth and importance for those of you interested in this topic or who work in the field. I highly recommend at least one viewing.

Here is a link to his talk.

I'm still sorry I missed this meetup and am equally sorry I'm so late in posting this. I don't know if you're all aware of the accessibility of the documentary by Tim Wilson, "Griefwalker," about Steve Jenkinson, but it is available in its entirety here: http://www.nfb.ca/film/griefwalker

    I highly recommend it.

I am very grateful for Dardan for her recommending this video on death and dying. The video was thought provoking. The ideas are some of the deepest and most integral that I've heard in many months. I love this group!

This may sound like a downer, but Stephen Jenkinson is a very passionate speaker and makes some very good points. I think this is a good conversation to have...not about what happens after we die, but how we go about actually doing it.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
