Paddle, paddle, paddle your kayak, gently down the lake. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream.

We're taking a scenic ride to Lake Woodlands on kayaks. In the message board titled Kayaking Vocabulary, you can read words related to kayaking and add other words you think would be helpful to know in Spanish.

It's $15 the first hour and $5 every hour. This includes the kayaks, paddles and life jackets by Orvis. Obtain the second hour of kayaking for free, when you print the Riva Row Boathouse coupon.

This voyage sets sail at 11:30am. Please arrive at 10:45am to allow time to register, put on life jacket, and board the kayak.

About Riva Row Boathouse
RRB made it's debut to the Woodlands in April 2009. It's near Market Street and the Woodlands Pavilion. The attendants are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their are cute ducks along the way.

Thirst quenching beverages are available to purchase. You're welcome to bring drinks and snacks from home.

Electronics and water don't mix. You can place your beloved electronics in a locker (bring a lock). You can leave the item in your car, or you can place your items in a water-proof ziploc bag (provided by RRBH). However you feel more comfortable.

Carpool
It's about a 30-45 min from Houston to the Woodlands. If you want to carpool, please say what side of town you're on with your RSVP or in the comment section below.

    •  The kayaking was great even when you keep hitting the wall (Meka). And the food was even better at Mario's.
    • Bella (+2 guests)
After we signed the disclaimer, we put on our life jackets. An employee helped us climb onto the kayak. We were handed our paddles. And we paddled away down the canal. We headed towards the fountain, got soaked. The water was refreshing. It was about that time we decided to join three kayaks. We moved in a s like pattern through the water, under a bridge, and between two pillars. We had a 3 kayak race, we came in second place. Melanie was tireless. ;o) I had fun.

It was awesome! I really enjoyed it!
    •  To me it was good experience & get to know differnt people form differnt countries & get to know them. It would have been more fun if we Kayak together. Thanks for organizing the same.
