August 2010, The Houston Spanish Language Meetup will go on its first ever study abroad trip. We will spend 7 days and 6 nights in Puerto Rico. Together we'll experience Puerto Rican culture and use Spanish language.

Airfare is $350.00 round trip from Houston IAH to San Juan, PR. After you pay your deposit, the remaining $300 is due by June 2010.

If you want to join us, the first step is to pay the airfare deposit. The airfare deposit of $50 will reserve your seat on the plane. Should the airfare price go up, you've already locked in your price. Should the airfare price go down, you'll be refunded the difference.

If you pay your deposit online, you'll receive a receipt from Amazon Payments (online transaction fee is $3.00). You're welcome to pay at any upcoming event. If you pay your deposit in cash, I will provide you with a receipt.

With your deposit, please include your full name. I'll then give your name and payment to Continental Airlines.

What if I am unsure about attending? It's months away, this gives you time to plan this trip into your schedule and your budget. By submitting your deposit, you are saving your spot and locking in the price. Should something change your plans, your deposit is refundable until July 2010.

    We'll be leaving for PR Monday August 2nd and returning to Houston August 9th (also a Monday). We'd like to be together in the beach house; it's beautiful and spacious. I believe Continental Airlines will accept frequent flyer miles (FFM). I'll forward flight information to those using FFM, so we can be on the same flight.

Your organizer's refund policy for Airfare Study Abroad

Refunds offered if:

  • you can cancel at least 30 day(s) before the Meetup

Additional notes: If you submit your airfare deposit, you can obtain a refund up until July 2010.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
