With your help, HSLM becomes even better at practicing Spanish, making friends, & experiencing Hispanic cultures in 2010. Your opinions, concerns, & ideas are being gathered through a survey. There are also new big ideas on the table for HSLM to make it better, please chime in on the possibilities.

The survey is online, you can do this from the comfort of home, in your spare time. You can complete it at any time. The survey will self-destruct December 12th. ;o) I will read each survey in detail. And I'll send you what I wrote in response to the survey to the email address you specify, in the survey.


Cupcakes

As a thank you for participating in the HSLM survey, I want to bake you a scrumptious cupcake from scratch. The only thing out of a box is the cake flour. ;o) I will bake cupcakes for those who RSVP YES plus a handful of extras (for those who want seconds). To make sure your cupcake is baked & ready for you, please submit your final RSVP by Friday, Nov 20th before midnight. Please tell me what kind of cupcake you want with your RSVP. ;o) The freshly baked cupcakes options are below.

El Pueblito

We'll be enjoying our cupcakes at El Pueblito. You'll need to cover your eyes and feel your way until you make to the patio. You'll be in for a pleasant surprise; the patio is gorgeous! The cabanas available exclusively for our group, will be a great setting to meet and greet you fellow HSLM members. You'll have things in common, like knowing Spanish for starters haha ;o)

Cocktails

El Pueblito offers a wide selection of unique beverages. The beverages served in pineapples and coconuts make for unique presentation. This isn't my treat but is available for your enjoyment. ;o)There website is under construction, but you can get a itty bitty preview.

What if I can't make it to this meetup?
Nearly every Saturday in November, we can meetup at Crave Cupcakes. I'll be there every Saturday (except Nov 7th) from 1200-2:00pm with Bob's guided reading group meets at Starbucks. With your RSVP or via email you can let me know what day you prefer and we'll meetup for a cupcake.

Can we meet for coffee, tea, milk, juice, or yogurt instead?
Of course, it is my treat. Starbucks and Berripop are within walking distance inside Uptown Park. Just let me know which Saturday afternoon in November that you're available with your RSVP or via email, and I'll be there.

It was delicious; it was such a colorful plate! After dinner, we feasted on cupcakes. I had another caketastrophe with the giant cupcake, but it was tasty. ;o) Posing for pictures in the cabanas after dinner was oddles of fun as well. ”
