Introduction

This group has potential to be a beneficial learning experience for myself and others. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone, making new friends, chatting with old friends, and learning with you all.

Where are you from? Where is your family from?

I'm a native Houstonian; I heart Texas. My family is from la Isla del Encanto (Puerto Rico). My step sisters are from Colombia and Honduras.

What are you favorite Hispanic restaurants? (i.e. Chuy's, Cafe Adobe, Dodo's Chicken)

Doneraki, El Temucano, and Taqueria Jalisco, a local taco stand (lol). I love homemade popusas.

How would you like to improve your Spanish?

I can read and understand just about anything in Spanish. I could use more practice speaking Spanish and writing in Spanish.

What are your favorite Hispanic celebrities (actor, musician, singer, comedian, etc.)?

My new favorite song is "Feliz" by Nany Garcia. I am a fan of Julieta Venegas, Mana, Bellanova, Shakira, Ricky Martin, and Alex Cuba. Gabriel Iglesias is a nice funny comedian. I like Paz Vega in Spanglish.
