The NYC JavaScript & HTML5 Monthly Hackfest

  • Apr 1, 2014 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

This group is all about HTML5, JavaScript and Web Technologies. We share, discuss, teach, learn, hack and extend web applications and experiences.

The evening agenda -

Socialize and Pizza!

"Show & Tell" - 15 minutes lightning talks about exciting and interesting projects and ideas. Followed by 10 minutes shared Questions and Answers.

Guest Speaker Session! Every month, we'll bring an experienced technologist to share from his experience and vision, and we'll explore together the limits of the web! :)

The Hackfest! Show us what you got, participate in hacking challenges, learn, showoff and (sometimes) win prizes.

Join us to learn from experienced Web Developers and Designers and socialize with the best web hackers around.

This meetup will be generously hosted by XO Group Inc.!

Thanks to the host and IOGroup for the meetup. Nice to meet you all. You can find the source code to the small demo I presented at
(Note: its pretty WIP so some basic things like resource management still haven't been implemented which explains the weird loading of assets during the app. hopefully will get time to update that this weekend!).
