Learn about how the technologies are actually being used.

How did you hear about the group?

What are you? (developer, thinker, designer...)

I hope I am a thinker... The best term may be teacher. It is important to get students to work on their own projects.

What is interesting more? Hacking together OR Insightful Speakers

I hadn't thought about 'hacking together'. That sounds like fun. However, 'insightful speakers' also sounds good.

I am a professor at Purchase College/SUNY. I also am an author. My two recent books are The Essential Guide to HTML5: Using Games to Learn HTML5 and JavaScript and HTML5 and JavaScript Projects. I also have articles in <jsmag>.
