Night of (Medieval) Madness!

Join us as we spin the time turner back further than Hermione Granger and enter the Middle Ages at Medieval Madness!

Medieval Madness is a dinner and show event that is based in historical Medieval times. Eat food like the nobles at court and watch as the knights and jesters entertain you during your meal!

Please note that this event is "rated" PG-13, and no children under 6 are allowed. No one under 18 is allowed without a parent/guardian.

This is a comedic event, so be prepared to laugh and enjoy the good, traditional food. (Hermione would call it research, Ron would call it "the best homework ever!").

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. SPACES ARE LIMITED.To purchase tickets and for more information, visit the website: http://www.medievalmadness.com/

If we get enough people (8 or more) that need to purchase tickets, it can be done at a discounted rate. If you are interested, please RSVP so we can try and save everyone some money.

EDIT: It seems the Groupon ticket is much cheaper than the group discount. I highly recommend using that to get your ticket.

I have reservations for 9 people under my name (Michelle Brannon) at Medieval Madness. You need to purchase your ticket (either online or over the phone) and you need to call Medieval Madness  and tell them you are part of the group to be sat with us.

Cost: $59.00 includes 4 course meal (vegetarian options available. Gluten free available), 2 tankards of ale or meade, comedic entertainment

The show starts at 7pm. We will meet outside the Renaissance Hall at 6:45 to get together before the show.

HOW TO GET THERE: If you don't want to drive into Alexandria, the Metro stop at Kings Street is the best option. The trolly runs until 10:15pm. If the show runs late, or if you get distracted by something shiny (easy to do), it is a short walk to the metro.

If you do want to drive, there is free street parking after 7pm, or the Hall has parking available for $8/night. If you would like to reserve a parking space, please reserve it with the Hall ahead of time.

Thank you for coming! I'm glad it was so much fun! We'll have to plan to visit when they move to their new place.

To find us: I'll be wearing my green I Believe in Nargles shirt, and possibly my grey Hogwarts hoodie if it's chilly. If we're not right outside, we'll be inside the building. See everyone tonight!!

I completely forgot about this and haven't gotten our tickets yet. In your email you said they are full so would it be too late to get ours?

Hey guys! Be sure to check your emails! Medieval Madness would like us to call or reply to their email to confirm our reservation. Be sure to mention you are sitting with the group (under Michelle Brannon) if you want to sit with us!

    I finally got answers!
Everyone needs to order their own ticket (via Groupon or wherever) and CALL to tell them you are part of our group. The reservation is under my name (Michelle Brannon). If we get more than 9 people, I can make the reservation larger. If you don't call, you don't sit with us. If you already have your ticket, please call the site and tell them to seat you with us (if you want to sit with us. Otherwise, let me know so I can lower the reservation number).

so are we making a group reservation or do we need to do it on our own?

The groupon seems to be a better deal than the group rate, so I recommend getting that on your own. I'm still in phone-tag mode with the place, so I think it would be safer to just get your own while you can.

seems like the Groupon is the better deal since the 8 person discount is still $45 each. Do we already have a reservation for that day? So excited!

Each person is responsible for their own tickets. I am playing phone tag with them about how the group reservation works. So at the moment we don't have a reservation for that day, but I'm working on it. :)
