Misti-Con 2013

When Aeternitas decided not to hold a convention in 2013, a great cry went out that we wizards still wanted to take over the Margate - thus Misti-Con was born.

Spend Mother's Day Weekend immersed with fellow Potterheads - panels, WRock, special drinks by Ray the Dark Lord Bartender, shows & a ball Sat night.  The resort will not be renting rooms to Muggles.  (But not totally isolated, there's a grocery store & shopping across the street.)

Please note that the convention rate goes from $110 up to $150 after Sept. 15, 2012.  (It will go up again to $175 after Feb 15th.)

When making a room reservation you will be charged for the first night.  Please see the con website for more details.

Hi everyone, just wondering is the intent to go as a group, or to meet up there or is this just an advisement about the convention and for people to go by themselves if they want? I've never been to a convention before... I'm interested in going but I'm not sure what to expect.

From past conventions, we do hang out together quite a bit but you're free to go your own way, too. Some people will probably share rides and rooms, but again it's up to you. I hope you decide to come!

Thanks for the reply Kirsten! I'm really interested in going but don't want to go by myself so it'd be cool if we are there as a group.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
