Falltime Recreational Tennis

Note the change of date to *THURSDAYS* now!

Brief Description:

It's fall and we're still playing more tennis! It has been a lovely (but rainy) spring and a lot of us have been burning some energy already.  If that's something you'd enjoy, c'mon out!

Total Cost, and exactly what it includes:

When is it:

We will play every Thursday at 5:00pm.  We'll do a quick warmup at 4:45pm and give everyone time to show up around 5pm.

Whether kids or dogs are welcome and any related restrictions:

No dogs/pets allowed.

Experience level, skills, or athletic ability needed to participate:

We only volley here!  Occasionally, we'll get a legitimate game going, but until we have a really good turnout, we just volley.

What to Bring:

At least ONE good tennis racket. With cooler days, wear tight-fitting neoprene inner-clothes.

Food/water situation:

Bring water or gatorade.  I'd recommend candy bars if you need that quick energy.  It's summertime, so come hydrated!

This event is open to Men and Women of all ages.  Athletic ability is preferred (just to prevent sports related injuries), but not required.

Additional Notes:

Be mindful of the weather.  Watch for rain in the forecast.  The courts at the middle school don't dry or have adequate rainwater runoff.  If we get rain on Tuesday, odds are the event will be a no-go.

Sounds like fun but I don't have racquets here ... I'll try to make it out next week
