Celebrate the joy of cycling at the Anthem Moonlight Ride. Take in the sights and sounds of RVA by bike... under a full moon... with 2,000 other riders decked out in crazy lights and costumes. Then top it off with pizza, ice cream, a live concert and a Blue Moon beer (for you 21-and-uppers!).
The Anthem Moonlight Ride starts and finishes at Sports Backers Stadium and features a short "Half Moon" (8 miles) or a longer "Full Moon" (17 miles) route through the North side and near West End. After the ride, enjoy a free concert and a complimentary slice of pizza, ice cream and a soft drink or Blue Moon beer. Plus, there will be plenty of exhibitors, food, and interactive activities. It's a great way to spend a summer evening!

I did this last year, and it was a blast! You must have a front headlight, helmet, and rear reflector to do this ride. The route is supervised by police and does not interact with traffic, except at the very end if you are at the end of the group. Let your wild side show by decorating your bike and winning the best bike costume award. There will also be prizes for the best decorative lights for your bike.
