Join us to walk, hike or bike in Urban San Diego. Urban Adventures walking, hiking or biking for your health in urban and nature settings in San Diego with emphasis on fitness and health. We create new friendships and have lots of laughs while we discover San Diego's hidden gems and unique history. We meet in North Park weekdays.
Urban Walkers would like to have your weekly commitment. Moderate to advanced walkers will love the calorie burn on our urban hikes . Beginners are welcome and Mondays are 3 miles designed to get you started. We walk at a heart healthy pace which is faster than a stroll but not speed walking. Our walking adventures usually cover -5 or more miles at a moderate to fast walking pace.
We will be visiting Historic Neighborhoods that offer great architecture, pretty landscaping and with a group that provides lots of laughs. We are looking for great attitudes that have a sense of adventure to be our walking, hiking and biking companions. There are hills, trails and adventure on our weekly city walking adventures. Most importantly, we are looking for members who arrive when they rsvp and willing to commit to weekly walking.
Our regulars will be invited to group social events. We will be extending our explorations to overnight adventures and/or day trips. There will be dinners/ theater and other outings Looking for new friends with an interest in fitness....join us...
Our biking adventures are usually on paved trails although we sometimes head out for an urban ride throughout the city. We are social riders and usually stop for lunch/breakfast mid ride. Our bike rides are designed for enjoyment and not speed.
