MORNING MINDFULNESS RETREAT
SUNDAY JUNE 22nd
Join us as we greet the start of summer with an extended morning of mindfulness practice. If you have been thinking or curious about what it would be like, but are not quite ready to commit to a full day, weekend or week long retreat, this might be a gentle way to "put your toe in the water" and give it a try.
The morning time together will involve immersing yourself in both guided and silent mindfulness meditations, gentle yoga, a bit of mindful eating, and reflective journaling. Use this time to go deeper with your practice or reconnect to one that may have been forgotten some time ago.
This opportunity is for adults who have some experience with meditation or who have taken or participated in an MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) program. So, if you have some familiarity with mindfulness, meditation or yoga practices, this might indeed be just the program for you.
This retreat may be more challenging for those who have never meditated before, so you might prefer attending the "Taste of Mindfulness" classes I hold once a month at the same location to learn how to meditate prior to attending. (Sunday April 13th and Sunday May 18th 10AM to 11:15AM are the next two dates for the Taste of Mindfulness Practice)
TIME: 9AM to 12:30PM
COST: $25 fee per participant

Also, please plan on arriving 15 minutes prior to the start time to settle in, pay for the course, and make your self comfortable so we can start promptly at 9AM.
