BIG turnout, just wish folks would RSVP if they are planning to attend. Granted, it is better to have more folks than expected but it would be nice to be a little closer than saying we'll have "15 or so" and then 30 show up!!!
Just sayin....
The server handled our group, which was twice the size of what they had been advised, with professionalism and courtesy. The spaghetti and meatball dinner was delicious and large enough that there were leftovers for lunch. Thank you, to our server and the rest of the Guido's staff!
they did a good job in getting the food out but some of us waited for some time to get the food! We had 28 people there so that could have been part of the reason for the longer timeon the food.
Our main goal is to promote motorcycle safety and provide group motorcycle rides our club members. Being a Non Profit organization we donate money to various charities during the year. However, our major reason for existence is to ride. During the winter months, we generally have a ride about twice a month; during the summer, 3-4 times a month. Rides are almost always on weekends, usually on Saturdays. We do have a weekly ride on Wednesdays called the daytripers. A few of times a year we go on overnighters; so far this year we have gone to the Laughlin , Pikes Peak , Tucson, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Generally in the summer we ride up north - Payson, Pine, Strawberry, Flag, etc. In the winter, we generally ride down south (Wickenburg, Phoenix area, etc.). We try to do a few "moonlight rides" each year - whatever night the full moon falls on - to ride someplace to dinner. We pay a yearly fee of $20 dues to cover our club expenses.
There is a CARR club application form you can print fill out if you want to. It's under " More" then " Files" .
Or you can come to one of our Meetings or rides and we will give you the form then.
Any person participating in any CARR CLUB event or rides agrees to hold the club harmless and understands they are participating at their own risk.
Has anyone called and told them we are coming?
