Yesterday, I mentioned the Recruiter of the Year nomination for Mike Bruni. Here is the link: http://www.recruitingtrends.com/award. It is a great way to say "thank you" to someone who tirelessly serves both recruiters and candidates alike.

As I got lost to get to the host site, I heard the last 40 minutes of the presentation. I appreciated the polite rules of clearance online etiquette, how cleared jobs composed their profiles, groups and interaction hookups between candidate and recruiter.

I also appreciated the tooting of possible cleared and uncleared positions announced after the recruiter raffle. I talked with several nice people before departing.

Thanks for making Project SAVE a success!

Evan Lesser's presentation on Social Networking and the Security Clearance Professional was informative. His "farmer simple" suggestions gave clear guidance to HR and recruiter professional and candidates with Security Clearances.

I'm convinced that nothing moves my hiring managers to interview like my scheduling a Project SAVE meeting! Sorry I will have to make the next one. I hope there are slides, notes, etc. on this great topic.

I attended the Recruit Military job fair last month. The next week, one exhibitor emails for a soft copy resume. "We would like a soft copy of your resume for
upcoming positions and to also share with other companies that are also looking for your talents."
I did send and then I wondered was it a good idea to consent to be 'passed around?'

    Please give me your opinion.

Is this event free to attend? Any limit to the number of colleagues I can bring along? Thanks!

I asked a friend to attend, to come down from Northern Maryland to listen to the discussion. He is still active duty and can not tell me yet. I am hopeful that he would come the distance to learn more.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
