Welcome to the Huddersfield & Wakefield Women's Social Group!
Relaxed, informal, social group aimed towards women aged from around 30-60+ who enjoy socialising. Events held in Huddersfield, Wakefield, and the surrounding areas. The events are exclusively for adult females.
The group is not large - we aim to provide activities and events where group members can forge friendships. Due to the low number of members (when compared to open groups) you will find that you see the same faces again. Our events are small with low attendance figures but you will see there is a jam-packed schedule of events to choose from.
We operate a waiting list to join, and we ask potential members to be aware that there may be a waiting time before your request to join is granted. Please note that we require a valid email address so we can keep you updated on forthcoming events. We take the safety of our members seriously. It helps to keep all of us safe, meeting new people, if members put a clear and recognisable photo of themselves on their profile - it also makes it easier to find each other at events! For this reason members must display a photo of themselves, those who do not will not be able to attend events and may be asked to leave the group.

Events throughout the month will include:afternoon coffee & cake, or evening dinners & drinks, walks, cinema and theatre trip and live music. Past events have included days out, crazy indoor golf, garden parties and murder mystery nights! The groups organisers create events, and are open to suggestions from members for other things to do.

Group Policies
AttendancePlease do not do a "no show"
A "no show" is where someone has RSVP'd yes and does not attend the event. The member will have made no attempt to contact the organiser, the host, or another attendee to advise of their absence. This leaves the event host worrying about where you are and can cause delays or, in the case of waiting lists, may stop other members from attending. Out of common courtesy please inform the event host if you are unable to attend at the earliest opportunity. Their name and contact details will be on the event page. If you "no-show" for three events you will be asked to leave the group.

Code of Conduct
The group's reputation is important to us. Any behaviour which reflects poorly on the group or its members will be discussed by the Leadership Team. Violence or verbal abuse of any kind towards organisers or members will not be tolerated. We are a friendly and welcoming group and we want to keep it that way.

Membership FeesThe Meet-up fee for this group is paid by the organisers. As fees go up with the number of members we need to limit the group to active members.

New members - you will be given 3 months from the date of joining in which to attend your first events. After this period, active members will be asked to make the payment if you wish to remain on the membership list.Inactive members may not be asked to become a permanent member.Inactive MembersMembers who are "inactive" may not be asked to renew their membership with the group. The group is for socialisers, so people who are not attending events, or not logging onto the site, may be removed from the membership list at the end of their paid-up period.

Meet-ups in the Huddersfield and Wakefield areas. Come and join us. Ideas for group activities welcomed - and appreciated!
Let's get socialising!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
