Hi Jeff:
What kind of van is it ... specifically. I work on cars and trucks a bit, and a fuel filter is within my knowledge. I wouldn't mind helping out. I do need to know the make and model though. If it's inside the fuel tank though, I can ask around for someone else with the skills. I would be hesitant to do one of those on someone else's vehicle. I know quite a few people who are into working on vehicles. Just let me know.

Dear Friends,

One of our members, Steve Sachetilli, started another humane organization called The Animal Shelter Project.  Their goal is to remove adopted pets from shelters before they are euthanized and rehome them.  Here is a message from Steve and the need for some volunteer drivers:

Hi All, The Animal Shelter Project could use some help with local transports this Thursday, 6/28, bringing foster dogs to vet appointments. Two trips are needed:  8 am and 1pm - first trip one dog and the second trip 2 to 3; a handler will accompany you. Our van is broken and a few of these dogs have homes waiting and just need to get fixed and vaccinated. Please contact Steve if you can help: [address removed] [masked] Thanks so much and we also need a mechanic who might volunteer an hour of time to replace a fuel filter on the van if anyone knows anyone!

Please Note: If you hit "REPLY", your message will be sent to everyone on this mailing list ([address removed])
