Louisiana's Animal Shelters Need More Oversight

Dear Volunteers,

There are about 125 animal shelters in our state and dozens of them are in run-down, poor condition, especially in the rural areas of our state, where funding to house and care for stray animals is a often a low priority.  We are about to launch a statewide campaign to help improve conditions at some of these shelters and in the meantime you can help by signing this petition:
