Dear Friends,

You won't want to miss the screening of Mine, a film by Geralyn Pezanoski. The film deals with the rescue and reclamation of animals by their owners in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Geralyn and her film crew flew into the City of New Orleans in the weeks after Katrina landed and followed rescue groups in their desperate attempts to capture and rehome animals in need.

A reception for Geralyn and residents who appear in the film will take place on Friday, January 22nd, starting at 6: 00 pm, at the Zeitgeist Theater, 1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd. The screening will start at 7: 30 pm and will last 80 minutes, with a panel discussion to follow.

The film will also be shown on Friday, January 22nd through Thursday, February 4th, at 7: 30 pm.
