Activist Opportunities

The Institute for Science in Medicine is hosting private, autonomous email discussion groups for people who want to work as activists in promoting science-based healthcare in the following areas:

1.) FLUORIDATION. Anti-fluoridationists are perhaps the greatest threat to public health in the USA, Australia, Ireland, Canada, and the UK. Huge campaigns were fought in several US states in 2012, and happily, nearly a million more people will now be able to access fluoridated water.

2.) NATUROPATHY. The national organization for naturopaths claims that they will be trying for licensure in 11 states in 2013, including Colorado.

3.) NURSING. Nurses from three continents have just started a group that plans to research and write about CAM in their profession.

This format is proving to generate great camaraderie as well as effective activism. If you'd like to join a group(s) or get more details, please contact me.
