Yes, it's Friday the 13th and we've scheduled another Happy Hour. It's one way to weed out the superstitious. :-) We especially welcome people looking for a community focused on living a good life in the here and now--naturally. That is, people who rely on science, critical thinking, reason, human need and compassion to inform their living. Whether you identify as humanist, non-religious, agnostic, naturalist, atheist, skeptic, freethinker or secular, check us out at this casual social event.
As a growing cohort of non-supernaturalists who seek to do good for goodness' sake, Humanists of MN will now be hosting two Happy Hours each month. One in St. Paul (on the 2nd Friday of the month) and one in Minneapolis (on the fourth Friday of the month) Sign up for the event that best suits your location or schedule.
Space is limited so I ask you to be considerate of others--one of the habits of Humanism, right? Give as many people as possible at least one opportunity to attend each month. But feel free to sign up twice if space is still available 24 hours ahead of time. And no; no one will serve as "bouncer." Of course, as always, I ask everyone to keep your RSVPs current and accurate.
Of course, with the onset of fall, we've got many other opportunities lined up to engage with fellow Humanists. Watch Meet-up for details--especially our upcoming chapter meetings at a new location with guest speakers, good conversation and lunch.
