Fostering Sexual Well-being: Humanist Perspectives

Humanists of Minnesota has teamed up with Minnesota Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (MVUUF) to co-sponsor a monthly “sex ed” series for young adults and young parents.  This month's session will focus on gender reassignment surgery.  Our guest panelists will answer our questions and share their stories about their transgender identities.

Professional childcare will be provided for those who RSVP in advance. Dinner of Brianno's Italian subs and beer will be served at 6:30PM and the talk will begin at 7:15PM. Please bring a potluck item to share if you want to have dinner with us. All MVUUF members, friends and fellow humanists are welcome between the ages of 21-40.

This program is being coordinated by Jill Carlson, a licensed therapist, who is an active member in three organizations that advocate humanist values:  MVUUF, Humanists of MN and MN Atheists.  There is no cost for the program thanks to a grant from the Unitarian Universalist Association which has been an advocate of comprehensive, secular-based sex education for decades.

Don't forget to bring a potluck item if you are able to make it for dinner! Thanks.
