Lunch With Humanists.

One of the great things about coming together for stimulating conversation each month is the chance to sit and have a nice meal with other Humanists and Free Thinkers. February brings one of our most interesting speakers to the Chapter Meeting and I expect the opportunity to discuss the leading edge of neurological science with each other to be especially informative. This month our catered lunch will be provided by Carbone's of Cedar Ave.

Not Pizza this time but a great selection of American fare. Here's what will be served:

• Broasted Chicken. A couple pieces for those who love this lightly floured and perfectly cooked American Icon.

• A Veggie Tray, for the fresh raw goodness of the garden.

• Buffalo Wings. A Gluten free chicken option.

• Mixed salad of greens that goes with most anything.

• And No-Meat Lasagna for those who prefer vegetables but still like cheese and pasta.

Something good for everyone I hope.

So please join us for lunch after a great presentation.

Cost will be $12.00 in the form of cash or check.

RSVP to this Meetup and then to the scheduled chapter Meetup featuring Apostolos Georgopoulos of the Brain Sciences Center of the Veterans Administration presenting a talk on "Brain Resilience and Emotional Trauma". The sign ups for the two Meetups are separate.

Sorry for pulling out after you confirmed the numbers with the caterer, Mark, but it couldn't be helped.

I know earlier is better; what is the deadline for rsvping?

    February 12, 2014

    • Mark T.

Don't feel pressured to rsvp by a deadline Rebecca. I will do my best to accommodate people even at the very beginning of the Chapter meeting. To answer your question more generally though, I confirm numbers with the caterer generally on the day before the event.

Mark, I've noticed two different prices on lunch, one site says $12 - the other $13. Please clarify.
