The 2011 Freethought Winter Solstice Celebration, hosted this year by (us!) Humanists of Minnesota, is a chance for Humanists, atheists and other freethinkers to share fellowship and good cheer with dinner, music, and entertainment. The setting is the Doubletree Park Place Hotel in St. Louis Park (take the Park Place exit from Highway I-394, just west of Hwy 100), and this year you have the option of dining with your fellow freethinkers or simply enjoying the entertainment portion of the evening.
If you'd like to join us for dinner and the show, reservations are required, and the deadline to respond is December 14th. Cost is $45 per person, and you can register and pay online (or download a form and mail a check) at:
Cost for the entertainment portion only is $10 per person. Simply come a bit before 7 pm and pay at the door.
The Freethought Band will serenade you throughout the evening and provide accompaniment for the evening's main event, the Freethought Follies, a theatrical and musical celebration of rational thinking written and produced by area atheists and Humanists.
