Lunch With Humanists.

After our regular "Chapter Meeting" the Humanists of Minnesota are hosting another catered lunch for anyone who would like to stay and talk and socialize with one another. This month we are having a Pasta Fest, spread by Fat Lorenzo's. It will be the last catered lunch before the summer outdoor picnic pot-lucks. Join us, please!

Here's the menu:

Spaghetti with Meatballs, smothered in Marinara sauce

Dinner Salad, enough for everyone

and Paolo's Pasta Alfredo, which is a vegetarian version made with sun dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives and spinach tossed with Alfredo sauce over Penne Pasta.

Cost will be $10.00 each. Cash or check will be collected at the buffet.

Be sure to sign up in advance so we can accurately order ahead.

This meal is served directly after the Humanists of Minnesota's regular chapter meeting which begins at 10.00 AM in the same location. The topic is "A New Era in Brain Science"

Thanks for all the efforts to arrange the lunches. The time to visit with others is appreciated and the food was good!

That's a great suggestion Andre! In fact I wouldn't have thought that anyone would have felt excluded from attending but I certainly didn't write that sentiment into the offering, did I. Everyone is welcome to bring their own food and sit with us, of course! No need to even sign up in that case. Just show up and socialize. I will try to incorporate that information in future Lunches With Humanists.

It would be nice if you gave people an option to attend and bring their own lunch. People who are following a diet that doesn't include pasta, don't have enough here to make a meal from; people on a budget might also prefer to make something at home.
