Welcome, David! I never feel any pressure to be a certain kind of atheist when I'm attending an event; we're all at unique points in our journey. The de-conversion stories vary greatly even among former Fundies, and there are many in this group. Looking ahead, I'd recommend attending the Flying Spaghetti Monster fundraiser--good food, great conversation, and a GREAT cause--ours!
