10th Annual Minnesota Freethought Solstice Celebration at the Doubletree in St Louis Park.
The Freethought Follies: A Theatrical and Musical Celebration of Rational Thinking Written and Produced by area Humanists, Atheists and other Freethinking volunteers!
Music by the Freethought Band
Please join us for the happiest freethought event of the year! When it's cold and gloomy outside, what do Humanists want to do? That's right have a big dinner party with friends and enjoy a stage show (with multiple acts!) which describes our wacky world the way only we can see it!
Meet other local Humanists, people who believe in the basic goodness of the human spirit and that the best way to live your life is by the use of reason, critical thinking, empathy, compassion and real-world knowledge.
If you believe in those principles or are interested in learning about them or want to help others learn about humanism join us for our meetings, events and social times.
We usually have a regular chapter meeting on the 3rd Saturday of the month but will send out a reminder to members when the topic/speaker is set (or check the calendar!) In addition, there are many other smaller meetups during the month!
Meetings are open to anyone who is interested in humanism and wants to meet other humanists. But if you want to get the newsletter and financially support our outreach activities, we suggest you become an HofM member by going to humanistsofmn.org and join!
