This event was terrific. Despite the spotty rain in Houston, about 75 people turned out to hear Prof. Silverman talk about his experience. Herb answered questions then autographed and notarized copies of his book for some attendees. If you are so inclined, you can post a review of his book at Amazon dot com ( http://tiny.cc/vt32fw ) or Barnes & Noble ( http://tiny.cc/1v32fw )

Dr Silverman gave a hilarious account of his growing up and then his career as a Professor of Mathematics. It was during this time that he ran for Governor of South Carolina despite the clause in the S.C. constitution which barred atheists from state office. He eventually caused the law to be changed and became a notary public.
