WASH NVC "Atheist Discrimination Globally (and What Humanists Can Do About It)"

Maggie Ardiente, of the American Humanist Association will be the speaker. She will talk about the rise of the religiously unaffiliated globally, specific instances of serious atheist discrimination (people being jailed or killed, not simply church/state type discrimination), and what AHA is doing about it through meetings with the State Department and connections through the religious freedom community.

This is the December monthly meeting of Humanists of UUCF and will be in the large meeting room of their Program Building. There will be refreshments out by 7:15 pm. All are welcome.
