The Flying Spaghetti Monster Lands for a Pint

The starting time has been changed to 6pm.  We had a good number coming at that time with our December meeting.  We target the area just across from the bar up the first flight of stairs.  I am expecting that people will arrive over a range of times.  With the November meeting there were a half dozen of us still there at 10pm at the end of happy hour.  People should feel free to come late if that works for their schedule.

We have a large number of younger members who understand the noodley goodness of wisdom from the majestic FSM.  In a moment of divine revelation he has informed me that there is a place where ten different craft beers and imports are available on draft for only $4 each.  They will also have sliders for only $1 and a menu with many items for less than $10.  The location is a very short distance south of Dupont Circle on Connecticut Ave, extremely convenient for those of us using Metro.

The FSM can deliver outrageous fun and delight after a long week at work. We have to acknowledge the power that come from the real true religion.  We are after all people who will acknowledge the empirical evidence when we see it.  If you have not experienced that power you will have to come to this event and find out.

I'm actually busy tonight Don. You'll have to find someone else to censor. Maybe next time?

People tell me that the the blizzard of insults that you toss out to people on-line doesn't happen in person. Based on that I wasn't expecting a problem if you showed up. And my significant other was hoping to talk with you. She was more than a little disappointed that you didn't make it. You are most welcomed to come if you wish. We had two professed libertarians in our group as it was.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
