I am a retired federal employee. I'm an agnostic interested in how to live my life when I do not believe that anyone has the answers to the Big Questions about God and the meaning of life.
I'm not sure how well I fit in this group. I'm an agnostic; I'm fairly certain that there is no god, but I'm not absolutely sure. I don't understand how anyone can be absolutely sure about something which is impossible to prove. I'm more interested in securing alliances amongst progressives than engaging in futile debates which will convince no one. I do not view condescension and guffawing as conducive to making such alliances. If that makes me an "accomodationist," then I'm proud ot it.
