Sunday Secular Sojourns

At its core Humanism balances the head and the heart. It is more than just denying gods–it is about embracing life and celebrating the human experience. One of many fantastic ways of doing that is to take a break from our busy urban routines, and enjoy a relaxing, yet exciting, sojourn through the wild. San Diego County presents an abundance of natural treasures to revere and enjoy. Every Sunday morning at 11 join the Humanist Association as we explore the gifts that San Diego has to offer.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring sunscreen, a good attitude, water, and snacks, if desired. The trails will be of changing difficulty and accessibility (some may be for more experienced hikers, but we will try to vary the challenge of each week's trail).

We hope to see you there. Come explore with us!

Can't believe Jason hikes in what looks like flip flops. More power to ya! :-)

I have a new knee, but still am not ready for anything like this. Wish I were.

Sorry about that Conway - how long do you think it will take?

Maybe by December, which will mark 6 months post-procedure, but full recovery could take a year.
