Is Humanism a Religion?

A recent U.S. District Court decision expanded the privileges that recognized-religious groups receive in prisons to Humanist groups. Though unnoticed in the general community, there were a series of statements and blog posts that criticized the ruling saying that Humanism is not a religion (which is inherently antithetical to the tenor of the Court's decision).

The thing about our third sunday meetings, i am really not the best about promoting it ahead of time-but there is always something great (so just mark your) calendar!

"If you want something done, ask the busiest person." I would love some notes or references, perhaps posted to C&C. Thanks

There are a number of people not on meetup that come to these meetings, and tonight is going to be a really good overview over the first amendment. So if you are interested in this issue-it is a great time to come and learn about it.
